Background
Recombinant Monoclonal Anti-CEACAM5 Antibody, Rabbit (M1B11) is a CEACM5 primary antibody for IHC application.
CEACAM5 is a cell-surface glycoprotein and founding member of the carcinoembryonic antigen family that functions in cell adhesion and serves as a clinical biomarker for gastrointestinal cancers. It is a CD molecule and is present at the apical plasma membrane, cell surface, and basolateral plasma membrane, where its adhesion-related activity places it at the interface of epithelial organization and signaling.
Clinically, CEACAM5 is used as a biomarker in gastrointestinal cancers and has been linked to tumor development through its adhesion functions.Product Specifications
