Monoclonal Anti-Human IgG Fc Antibody, Mouse IgG1 (6F11C8) is a recombinant mouse monoclonal antibody expressed in CHO cells.

Antibody Type

Recombinant Monoclonal

Clone

6F11C8

Isotype

Mouse IgG1, Kappa

Host Species

Mouse

Reactivity

Human IgG Fc, including IgG1–IgG4 isotypes and Fc-engineered variants (e.g. N297A, LALA, YTE, LS, S239D/I332E)

Immunogen

Recombinant Human Fc derived from CHO cells

Specificity

Specifically binds to the Fc region of human IgG without recognizing Fab fragments or mouse IgG isotypes.

Application
Application
Recommended Use
ELISA
0.2-2 μg/mL

* Recommended dilutions are for reference only. Optimal working concentrations may vary depending on your consumables, reagents, and assay conditions. We recommend optimizing for your specific system. No warranty is made regarding performance at any specific dilution.

Cross Verification

Positive: Cross-reactive by ELISA with human IgG subclasses (IgG1, IgG2, IgG3, IgG4) and a panel of Fc-engineered variants including N297A, LALA, YTE, LS, S239D/I332E. Weak cross-reactivity by ELISA with cynomolgus IgG.
Negative: No detectable cross-reactivity by ELISA with mouse IgG subclasses (IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b).

Introduction de fond

Crystallizable fragments composed of the carboxy-terminal halves of both IMMUNOGLOBULIN HEAVY CHAINS linked to each other by disulfide bonds. Fc fragments contain the carboxy-terminal parts of the heavy chain constant regions that are responsible for the effector functions of an immunoglobulin (COMPLEMENT fixation, binding to the cell membrane via FC RECEPTORS, and placental transport).
