Source

Human IL-18 R beta, His Tag (ILB-H52H8) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293). It contains AA Phe 20 - Arg 356 (Accession # O95256-1).

Predicted N-terminus: Phe 20

Molecular Characterization

This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

The protein has a calculated MW of 40.3 kDa. The protein migrates as 55-60 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

Endotoxin

Less than 0.01 EU per μg by the LAL method / rFC method.

Purity

>95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

>95% as determined by SEC-MALS.

Formulation

Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS, pH7.4 with trehalose as protectant.

Introduction de fond

IL-18 R beta (IL-1R7), also known as IL18RAP (Interleukin 18 Receptor Accessory Protein), is a member of the IL-1 family. Within the IL18 receptor complex, does not mediate IL18-binding, but involved in IL18-dependent signal transduction, leading to NF-kappa-B and JNK activation.
