    This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the N-terminus, followed by an Avi tag (Avitag™).

    The protein has a calculated MW of 20.3 kDa. The protein migrates as 25-35 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

    We purchased the "Biotinylated Human IL-22 Protein, His,Avitag™" from ACRO Biosystems. The quality of this product is great and behaves as expected in our experiments. The product support is great and you can find all the information you need on the website. The only suggestion I would have for this is to make it easier and faster to get protocols and data sheets without having to enter all you basic information to be able to download them. Other than that the only other "negative" review I would have is that there are hardly any discounts or promotions for this product. We bought many of the 25ug vials and, in hindsight, we should have ordered the 200ug to be a little more cost effective. Other than that, communication with a representative is fast and easy if needed.

    Can lyophilized proteins remain stable during room-temperature shipping or temporary room-temperature exposure?

    In general, lyophilized proteins remain stable during room-temperature shipping or temporary exposure to room-temperature conditions.


    Many ACROBiosystems recombinant proteins are supplied in lyophilized (freeze-dried) form. The lyophilization process effectively removes moisture from the product, helping reduce degradation-related reactions and improve protein stability during transportation and storage.


    To evaluate the stability of lyophilized proteins under normal temperature conditions, ACROBiosystems conducted a stability study on 11 representative lyophilized protein products at 37°C. The study demonstrated that these proteins maintained good quality stability after storage at 37°C for approximately 20 days. Based on these validation results, temporary room-temperature exposure during shipping or handling is generally not expected to have a significant impact on product quality or downstream application performance.


    To ensure optimal long-term stability, products should be stored according to the storage conditions specified in the product Certificate of Analysis (COA) upon receipt.

Interleukin-22 (IL22) is also known as cytokine Zcyto18, IL-10-related T-cell-derived-inducible factor (IL-TIF), which is belongs to the IL-10 family or IL-10 superfamily (including IL-19, IL-20, IL-24, and IL-26), a class of potent mediators of cellular inflammatory responses. IL-22 is produced by activated DC and T cells and initiates innate immune responses against bacterial pathogens especially in epithelial cells such as respiratory and gut epithelial cells. IL-22 biological activity is initiated by binding to a cell-surface complex composed of IL-22R1 and IL-10R2 receptor chains and further regulated by interactions with a soluble binding protein IL-22BP. IL-22 also promotes hepatocyte survival in the liver and epithelial cells in the lung and gut similar to IL-10.
