    This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus, followed by an Avi tag (Avitag™).

    The protein has a calculated MW of 49.8 kDa. The protein migrates as 60-90 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

    Biotinylation of this product is performed using Avitag™ technology. Briefly, the single lysine residue in the Avitag is enzymatically labeled with biotin.

LRP-1 Cluster III, spanning residues 2462 to 2925, contains ten cysteine-rich complement-type repeats. Positioned within the middle region of the extracellular alpha-chain, it is isolated by flanking EGF-like domains. While it displays significantly lower ligand-binding activity compared to Clusters II and IV, it selectively interacts with unique targets like ADAMTS-5.
