Adeno-associated virus 2 (isolate Srivastava/1982) (AAV-2) Rep 68, His Tag on SDS-PAGE under reducing (R) condition. The gel was stained with Coomassie Blue. The purity of the protein is greater than 95%.

I used the Rep 68 Protein for a Western Blot positive control and it worked perfectly ! The signal I had was strong with a short time of exposure, and it was one clean band. Furthermore, I only used a few ng of the sample to load the Western Blot gel, so I can do many many Western Blots with a single tube. I also found it easy to handle as the reconstitution was clear.
