CD105Contexte de la molécule

CD105, also known as Endoglin, is a ~180 kDa type I integral membrane homodimeric glycoprotein (90 kDa per subunit) and a core positive marker for mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) identification via flow cytometry. It is highly expressed on vascular endothelial cells, placental syncytiotrophoblasts, activated monocytes and tissue macrophages, with weak expression on stromal fibroblasts, and upregulated in activated endothelium during angiogenesis (e.g., tumors, wound healing, dermal inflammation). As a key component of the TGF-β receptor system, it binds TGF-β1/β3 with high affinity (not TGF-β2), participates in TGF-β signaling and angiogenesis pathways to regulate endothelial proliferation, migration and vascular remodeling, serving as a vital target for MSC identification, vascular and tumor-related flow cytometry studies. The specific CD105 flow antibody facilitates accurate detection and analysis of target cells, thereby accelerating research progress in stem cell biology, angiogenesis and tumor pathogenesis.
