IL-18 R1Contexte de la molécule
Interleukin-18 receptor 1 (IL-18R1), also known as CD218 alpha (CD218a, formerly CDw218a), IL-1 receptor-related protein (IL-1Rrp), and IL-18R alpha, belongs to the interleukin-1 receptor superfamily. IL-18R1 contains three Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains and one TIR domain. It is a receptor for interleukin-18 (IL-18). Binding of IL-18 to IL-18R1 leads to the activation of NF-κB. IL-18R1 does not bind IL-1 alpha (interleukin-1 alpha) or IL-1 beta (interleukin-1 beta).
