This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

I purchased ACRO’s Human 4-1BB (His Tag) for our recent binding affinity studies. The most impressive aspect was the provided MALS (Multi-Angle Light Scattering) data, which gave us high confidence in the protein's oligomeric state and purity before even starting our experiments. Since 4-1BB function is highly dependent on its structural integrity, having MALS-verified molecular weight data is a huge advantage. We observed excellent consistency in our SPR (Surface Plasmon Resonance) assays with minimal lot-to-lot variation. Highly recommended for researchers requiring high-precision analytical data.

I have ordered this material several times for use in Biacore/SPR assays. I have been able to obtain consistent, high-quality results with different lots of this antigen and was able to reproduce kinetic measurements reported in literature for commercial anti-4-1BB molecules. Because 4-1BB is glycosylated, the molecular weight reported by SEC-MALS is helpful for estimating Rmax for my experiments. We have also used this antigen to successfully capture anti-4-1BB out of serum in ELISAs.
